- Shipments picked up at, or delivered to, private residences or camps (other than military), farms, or businesses in rural areas will be assessed a charge of $8.64 per 100 pounds, subject to a minimum charge of $123.50 per shipment, and a maximum charge of $518.00 per shipment or $518.00 per vehicle if more than one vehicle is used to transport shipment.
- The charges provided in this item will apply separately for pick up and delivery and will be in addition to all other applicable charges.
- The Payor of freight charges shall also be responsible for the charges accrued under this item, except charges on shipments moving on government Bills of Lading will be collected from U.S. Government.
- Inside pick up, delivery, and notification when requested at the location subject to this item, will be included in the charges listed herein and will be in lieu of Item 566 and Item 647-1 of this Tariff.
- Residential Delivery service is only to the inside of door and does not include assembling, packing, unpacking, dismantling, sorting, set-up, or removal.
- As used in this item, the term "Private Residences" shall apply to the entire premises on which a dwelling for living is located.
